Was looking forward to a gyro; but the sign on the Base Exchange said 'Canceled'. Where are you, MBFGT?

I went about 11:45 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, granted its a busy time, but just to even order was like, 15 min. or so, and that was with only 3 people standing in line in front of me. All in all, waiting to order, ordering and waiting to get my food, I'd say it was about 20 min or so. Which when you are on break from work, is a long time. I got the fish and chips and the "chips" were just french fries that I think were supposed to be seasoned, but were very bland to me and the fish was cooked and seasoned good, but the breading on the outside was not at all crispy, more on the soggy side. And to get extra side of sauce, it was a dollar! I gave it 3 stars only because the fish was cooked good and had a good flavor.

This is real Greek food, delicious and made with Greek hands.... I look forward to to seeing their truck at all the truck nights!

The tzatziki sauce is some of the best I've had in Stl. The women who works on the truck said she makes it fresh herself and I can tell! Also, their gyros are AMAZING. They put french fries right into the sandwich! Its sooo good and keeps all of the meat's juices in without making the pita soggy. Its HUGE for the price too, I had it for lunch two days in a row. Definitely worth stopping by!!
